A/N - Finally marriage chapters is here but ofcourse, I'll do tons of useless Drama Here too :D

...He walked down only to see the goddess once again and this time, his anger melted away but he remained quiet. He simple walked towards the chair and sat down as Kritika served him. The two of them sat silently eating food, although Kritika was more gulping it down.

A small voice filled the room for a second. "Sorry"  "hm?" He looked up from the plate to her. "Wo, Sorry for yelling at you earlier, I didn't mean it." Never in her life did she think she would ever yell at Yuhaan. "Hm" He looked down back to his plate.

The two of them ate in silence and went to their moving moving on with their night.. No they didn't cuddle or even look at each other.

-- Two weeks later-- In a gorgeous fort <3--

Kritika and Dhwani were tirelessly jogging around everywhere trying to make sure everything was set for the ceremony today. After a long wait, Kiara was finally leaving that hell hole of a place and was getting married to one of the most eligible bachelors.. Little did she know she was leaving a hell hole just to dive in another.

It had been 2 weeks since Kiara and Abhimanyu last met and there was nothing more that Abhimanyu wanted. He hated the fact that he was getting married and had most definitely planned to keep his distance from her.

Meanwhile the other two couples. Shikhar hadn't given her the cold shoulder yet but definitely didn't plan on being close and Dhwani too kept her distance worried something she didn't want would happen. Dhwani still cuddled with Shikhar before sleeping but didn't get a response. She only woke up to still being in his warm embrace and always sneaked a few glances at his face as the sun rays hit his face, turning them into a radiant canvas of warmth and light, illuminating his features with a golden glow that seemed to capture the very essence of the fleeting moment. This was a scene she could never get tired off.

Simply put, they weren't back to being as they were before but they certainly hadn't made a lot of progress.

On the other hand, Kritika was left confused.  Sometimes he gave her the cold shoulder and an icy glare while sometimes he hugged her through the entire night. She tried asking what was happening but all she received was a long stare and a look away, never an answer. Yuhaan here was going through a dilemma, he didn't want to like Kritika. He wanted to keep his distance and so far that he wanted to hate her with all his heart. He knew that emotions meant nothing and wanted to let it all go. He wanted to put back all his focus back towards his company and his work. All he wanted to care about was work, clients, meeting and emails yet everytime he tried to do this there was always something that was pinching his heart.

A feeling that couldn't describe. Something he had never felt before. He couldn't bring himself to hate Kritika. He couldn't bring himself to redirect his mind and his focus. But this idiot still couldn't figure this feeling and ignored it everytime thinking it was something stupid and if he did know this feeling he would most likely describe it as stupid.

Simply put, they weren't back to being as they were before but they certainly hadn't made a lot of progress however this time, Kritika didn't raise her expectations.

(Back to the ceremonies)

Quiet a bit of time had passed and Dhwani had returned to her room. All the brothers had taken a leave due to this marriage drama. Despite Yuhaan's "leave", he continued working from home like a mad man.

It was the afternoon and everyone was in their room to take their beauty nap except Yuhaan and Kritika. Yuhaan was busy working while Kritika was still running around arranging the program later that night. It was the first ceremony after their engagement. The mehendi (henna) ceremony.

The Mehendi ceremony in an indian wedding is a vibrant and joyous celebration of love and togetherness. As the sun sets, the air becomes infused with the sweet aroma of henna, and the sound of laughter and music fills the air. The women of the bride's family gather together, adorned in colorful traditional attire, their hands painted with intricate henna designs that tell stories of love and prosperity. The atmosphere is filled with anticipation and happiness as the bride-to-be awaits her turn to have her hands and feet adorned with beautiful henna patterns, symbolizing the deep bond of love and the intricate journey of marriage. As the night unfolds, the Mehendi ceremony becomes a magical tapestry of music, dance, and the timeless art of henna, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

This was just how everyone perceived this family, this Empire. Except the 3 brothers, everyone else were the most jolly and fun people someone could ever meet.

Kritika being the eldest daughter-in-law of the family was kept in charge of the decoration, events, guests and in short all of the preparation needed. All the pressure was put on Kritika and if anything went wrong, all the blame was to go on Kritika. This is exactly what happened during Dhwani and Shikhar's wedding too and not only that, but ever since Yuhaan and Kritika's wedding, all events that took place in the Randhawa empire were all prepared by Kritika and no body would acknowledge it but if someone ever saw the preparation done, they would for sure be in awe.

Just as she talking to one of the workers about the decoration "aree bhaiya ye kese kar rahe hain, itni baar aap sabko samjhaya hai aap dhangse kariye na." a bold voice spoke up "Agar itni hi problem hai to tum khud kar lo na" She turned back a saw a gorgeous man standing there looking at her crossed arms. He was dressed in traditional wear and oh gosh how that kurta adorned his body, those muscles. She was left staring at him with a wide mouth. "Mu (mouth) band kar lijiye mrs. randhawa makhi ghus jaayegi." She quickly shut her mouth and look back towards the worker. "Bhaiya ab main jaa rahi hoon lekin sunlijiye, jese ap ko bataya tha bilkul vaisa hi karna aur main thodi der main aa rahi hoon tab tak sab kuch acche se ho jaana chahiye." With that she turned away and started walking in other direction.
(Aree, How are you doing it like this, can't you understand? Do it properly na)
(If you have so much problem then do it yourself.)
(Close your mouth mrs.Randhawa a fly will get in.)
(I'm leaving now but hear me loud and clear, do it just like I told you and I'll come back in a while and everything should be properly done by then.)

She was just walking away to another preparation when two strong arms pulled her towards a corner. She looked up to see none other than Yuhaan. "Yuhaan Ji kya kar rahe hai aap, chhodiye mujhe kitne kam bache hai." She tried to free herself from his grip but miserably failed and only resulted in him tightening his grip.
(Yuhaan Ji, what are you doing, please leave there is so much work left.)

He stared deep into her eyes but there wasn't any anger or coldness, it was simply adoration and admiration in a deep sense, it was pure love. It was all Kritika had ever wanted to see in his eyes. Love. Their trance was broken as he spoke "tumne khana khaya?" "Hm" She just lied. She hadn't gotten the time to even think about food, forget actually eating it but she knew better than to tell Yuhaan about it.
(You had food?)

"Kritika you know there is no point in lying. I can figure out the lie in the matter of a few seconds. Aise hi thodi na yahan ka hukum aur itni badi company ka CEO hoon." He spoke with a gentle smile on this face while bending a little to meet her eyes as she stared at the ground "Ab sacchi bolo, tumne khana khaya?"
She slightly shook her head "Nahi."
(I'm not the King of this place and the CEO of such a big company just like this."
(Now be honest, Did you eat lunch?)
(No)

He held her by the elbow and led her towards the dining table. "Yuhaan ji this is not needed, and anyways i'm not feeling hungry so its ok." And just as she said this a stomach made a huge growl completely opposing what she just said. "Hm its ok, no problem if you're not hungry, I'll make you eat food anyways."

He sat her down at her chair and gave her a plate serving food himself. The smile was still stuck on his face. Something about Kritika made him smile for no reason and that current moment, he himself did not know what he was doing. He simply following Kritika's advice, listening to his heart and that moment all his heart told him was to care for Kritika.

After serving her the food, he sat down in the seat next to her, not his normal 'boss of the house' chair but a chair right next to her. Kritika was still in shock by what had happened to her angry mad man and her wide eyes and open mouth clearly indicated this. Wait, her  angry mad man.

He slid the plate between both of them and took a piece of the food and took it towards Kritika's mouth. She held his rough wrist and opened her mouth accepting the gesture. During all of this, the two of them held eye-contact. She looked down towards the plate while chewing the current bit while still holding his wrist. Yuhaan couldn't tear his eyes of her face.

His mind was screaming at him to look somewhere else and to remove that 'stupid' smile off his face but no matter how much he tried he couldn't stop admiring Kritika. Everything about her started attracting him. This continued throughout the meal and the two of them spent rest of their time. Kritika running around, taking care of the preparations and Yuhaan following her like a lost puppy, smiling and admiring.

-- The evening -- Time of the event -- Mehendi ceremony --

Everyone walked in at venue with wide eyes and open mouths. It was a huge ground right next to their house. A huge stage with two beautiful chairs and a 2-3 normal chairs kept. 2 for the couple and the rest for the henna artists. Right opposite of the stage was a placed a buffet and round tables with chairs next to it. Their house was decorated with flowers and lights turning it into a beautiful scene. (Chapter aesthetics at the end)

The guests consisted of all of their relatives and tons and tons of business partners. A while passed and by now everyone had arrived. Abhimanyu was walking around in mehendi green kurta pajama (Indian wear) talking to everyone and welcoming everyone, trying his best to avoid and ignore Kiara to prevent the anger and hatred he felt.

All the daughter-in-laws today were looking like a goddess in their outfits. Kiara, looking the best, was sitting on one of the chairs with 4 henna artists working on her hands and legs. For some reason, that dangerous feeling she was getting earlier only increased. Her gut screamed that this family is dangerous and harmful but at this moment, she would do anything she could to get free from her 'mothers'.

She was lost in thought before one of the artists spoke

"Ma'am naam kya likhun?" (Ma'am what name should I write?)

"Abhimanyu"

"Bohut lamba hai, kuch chhota naam hai kya? Jo shayad aap unhe pyaar se bulanti ho?" (It's too long, Do you have a nickname? Which maybe you call him with love?)

"Uh, Abhi likh dijiye." (Uh, You can write Abhi)

The artist nodded and resumed the design.

--

A while passed and Shikhar and Yuhaan were talking to each other. Not letting anyone know that they started feeling restless when Kritika and Dhwani still didn't come out of there rooms. Just then, everything went silent and all eyes turned towards the stairs, to the sound of heel hitting against the flooring. Two beautiful figures walked down the stairs hand in hand with a huge smile on their face with a soft giggle.

Dhwani was wearing a mehendi colour anarkali suit and Kritika wearing a Mehendi colour lehenga. Gorgeous jewelry adorned their body. The boys quickly gathered themselves before anyone could see them but if anyone did see them, they would see 2 of the most eligible, short-tempered, rude and cold men staring at their wives with open eyes and wide mouths.

The girls walked towards their husbands but someone with a sharp eye could see that pretty smile turn into a fake one. The four of them were together for most of the night. The boys back to their cold nature. However as time came for dinner, Dhwani and Shikhar walked off somewhere else.

Yuhaan dragged Kritika towards one of the tables and sat her down. She looked up and stared at him with a look stating 'Are you ok? What happened.' Without a word Yuhaan went to get food from the buffet.

He got the plate and sat down near her. Kritika reached towards the plate but Yuhaan slapped her hand away but before she could speak he spoke up "aaj pura din tumne kaam kara hai, itna to farz banta hai mera" He once again bought his hand up to her mouth and she happily accepted it. However she couldn't help but think "Is he bipolar or something. Sometimes he is happy, fun and loving and other times he is the rudest and the most arrogant person."

The two had dinner like this and soon the night came to an end.

Kiara on the other hand was extremely tired and definitely hungry. The make up artist had started getting her ready very early in the day and the henna artists had been working on her all day. She hadn't gotten a single minute to rest and Abhimanyu definitely wasn't help. He had barely talked to her at all and anytime he even looked at her all he did was give her a glare and go away.

The other two brothers may be falling in love but Abhimanyu was certainly not. There was anything he would do to stop this wedding but the water was above the head level. There wasn't anything that could be done. Abhimanyu hated every single thing about Kiara and he hated it when he saw a smile on her face due to the wedding but at the same time he knew he hated her tears.

After a long wait, as Kiara's mehendi finally dried, she and her bhabhis' took it all out together and one had to admit, the artists had definitely done a wonderful job. All 3 brothers had gone to their room while the three wives were all sitting together. As soon as all the mehendi was dried up, Kiara changed up into comfortable clothes and with a huge smile jumped on the bed, back down. "Why are you so happy Kiara?" -Dhwani

"Bhabhi, finally I get to get rid of my 'mothers' and get married into a such a good family, why wouldn't I be happy.?" Kritika and Dhwani shared a look knowing Kiara's life was about to get worse than it was. They shared an awkward, sad chuckle before Dhwani spoke again. "Kiara, I won't tell you everything before your marriage but don't keep your expectations high. This family isn't as good as they show it to be. and with Abhimanyu being your husband, i'm not so sure how everything will go. " Kiara had a confused look on her face as she looked at Kritika too slowly nodding her head.

"Bhabhi I didn't understand anything, but it doesn't matter so you too don't worry." Kritika and Dhwani smiled at her and told her that they will now go to their own rooms. They waved good bye and Kiara drifted off to sleep.

As Kritika and Dhwani were walking to their rooms Dhwani spoke, she was always the talkative one. "Bhabhi, I'm really scared, I'm getting this uneasy feeling for Kiara and I can't stop it." Kritika understood and she couldn't help but admit she was going through the same things. "Dhwani, nothing is in our hands now. Let's just see what happens." With that the two went in their rooms.

As soon as Dhwani entered the room, she closed the door but looked up to see...
